Timber Lodge and Tumbling Bay Playground open
The Olympic Park North Hub – now called the Timber Lodge - and the Tumbling Bay Play Area both opened to the public at the Open East Festival on the 27th July, along with the rest of the north park! The Timber Lodge includes a café, run by Unity Kitchen, community spaces and toilets for the park, whilst the play area offers a range of ecologically themed play opportunities for children of all ages, from sand and water play for the little ones to the heights of the Scots Pine Play area for teenagers. More photos to come soon.
